Dear TUI Customer Service Team,
I hope this email finds you well. I am writing to express my deep disappointment and frustration with the recent experience my family and I had during our stay at one of your bungalows with reservation number #**********. Our experience was marred by unacceptable behavior, unexpected charges, and a lack of clarity in billing.
Upon our arrival, we encountered a distressing situation with one of your staff members. We had initially reserved the bungalow for two people but decided to bring our son along last minute. We were shocked when the staff member insisted on charging us an additional 60 Swiss Francs for his presence, despite our understanding that the price was per night per bungalow and not per person. We also requested an extra pillow and bed sheets for our son, but our request was ignored, and the staff member pretended not to understand our simple inquiries.
As if that wasn't frustrating enough, the situation escalated when the staff member demanded an additional 76 Swiss Francs from us, on top of the 200 Euro deposit we had already paid. This request for extra charges was vague and unjustified, merely citing "taxes" as the reason. However, our contract clearly states a charge of 7 Swiss Francs per person per night, along with an additional 50 Swiss Francs for cleaning, despite the fact that no cleaning was performed during our stay. Furthermore, we had already paid 60 Swiss Francs for our son on the first night. The total amount demanded far exceeds what is specified in our contract, and this discrepancy is unacceptable.
To make matters worse, the staff member we interacted with was incredibly rude and displayed a complete lack of service friendliness. Her behavior towards my family and me was deeply offensive, and we believe it to be racially motivated. We also have not received our 200 Swiss Francs deposit back, which is yet another issue that needs to be addressed urgently.
I kindly request that you thoroughly investigate this matter and take appropriate action to rectify the situation. I am seeking a refund of the unjust charges and an apology for the humiliating and degrading treatment we endured. Such behavior is entirely unacceptable, and I trust that TUI will address this issue promptly.
